Our story
2011
Kieran's civil contracting background dates back to 2011, while JP brings his own experience in fabrication and construction.
2023
MXB Group was founded when directors Kieran Mullane and JP Blanchfield combined their individually run businesses into one.
Growth
Early on, the business grew quickly on the back of major pipeline work, including a significant project with McConnell Dowell on the Sunshine Coast.
Today
As pipeline work across the industry slowed, we made a deliberate shift toward workshop fabrication and retaining systems, leaning into the combination of civil and welding capability that sets us apart.

MXB Group is led by two directors with complementary trade backgrounds, supported by an office manager who keeps every project running smoothly.
Director
Kieran brings a civil contracting background dating back to 2011, combined with trade qualifications as a boilermaker. He leads MXB Group's civil and welding capability, drawing on hands on experience across retaining systems, earthmoving and pipeline infrastructure to make sure every project is delivered to specification.
Director
JP co-founded MXB Group alongside Kieran Mullane, bringing his own background in the fabrication and construction industry to the leadership of the business.
Office Manager
Hayley manages the day to day administration and client relationships at MXB Group, keeping projects, compliance and communication running smoothly so Kieran and JP can stay focused on delivery.
